Three Seasons & New Keepers of the Water Towers Fredag 9 Dec

Kvällens band är Three Seasons och New Keepers of the Water Towers- ett av vinterns absoluta höjdargig på Hellbar!

THREE SEASONS

In a 70’s kind of mood, heavy blues rock is mixed up with more jam-oriented, experimental and psychedelic parts. On top of this strong foundation, there are also several shades of a wide range styles. One song might feel a little jazzy, another could be reminiscent of the old folk music, but in the end it’s altogether just the sound of Three Seasons.

The first Three Seasons release ”Life’s Road” was released in February 2011. The 9-track record was very well recieved by press and listeners, receiving very good review from papers and websites in Europe and America (19/20 from ”Metal Integral”, 5/5 from Swedish ”Kulturbloggen” and so forth). Life’s Road was also featured in the major magazines Swedish Rock Magazine and Close-Up Magazine’s ”Retro-Rock Special”. Lately, the debut album was also considered the 83rd best album in 2011 by ”Fast ’N’ Bolbous”.

Some weeks after it’s release, Life’s Road had reached place 45 on the Swedish sale charts! During the summer, a beautiful double vinyl edition of the album was produced in co-op with Dutch company ”Clear Spot”. Three Seasons is now also available in Russia thanks to the Papersleeve CD edition of Life’s Road, created by Russian distributors/record label ”MALS”.

NEW KEEPERS OF THE WATER TOWERS

”NKOTWT deliver atightly-executed mix of headiness and brawn.

The band’s twin guitar attack and striking, earnest riffs create a dense, rhythmic roar assembled in such a way that each song will batter its way into your brain, heart and memory.

The riffs are huge, the rhythms are sneaky and brutal, and the complex unison ”guitarmonies” effortless, ranging from soft, almost psychedelic sections to gold-plated passages of no-nonsense headbanger frenzy.

Vocalist / guitarist Rasmus Booberg’s spooky tenor, bluesy inflection and guttural roar rolls like thunder across epic songs spanning both the intense and the sublime, adding depth to an album that is bombastic and exciting from start to finish.”
